TANJUNG REDEB – Palm oil cultivation in Subdistrict of TanjungRedeb, District of Berau, East Kalimantan Province keeps increasing for years.
Based on Plantation Agency of Berau, the palm oil enlargement until the end of 2014 had reached 111.591 hectares within the production 1.064.531 tons.
Head of Plantation Agency, Berau, Fattah Hidayatsaid, the vastness of plantation includes the people’s plantation and the partnership programme of the companies.
In 2015, the enlargement is targeted to reach 20 thousands hectares. So the total vastness reaches 131.591 hectares within the production targets about 1.256.146 tons.
“The targets will keep increasing in every single year. And in this year, we have asked to increase the area and the higher production,” he recently said as quoted from Kaltim Post. (T3)
