InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — Indonesia’s palm oil production strengthened in October 2025, with crude palm oil (CPO) output reaching 4.352 million tonnes, up 10.68 percent from 3.932 million tonnes in September. Palm kernel oil (PKO) production also rose from 366,000 tonnes to 405,000 tonnes.
Cumulatively, CPO and PKO production reached 48.092 million tonnes through October 2025, representing year-on-year growth of around 9.85 percent compared with 43.780 million tonnes in the same period of 2024, reflecting solid upstream performance.
Domestic consumption also increased, with total absorption reaching 2.227 million tonnes in October, up from 2.053 million tonnes in September. Biodiesel consumption accounted for the largest increase, rising to 1.200 million tonnes, up 12.15 percent month-on-month. (T2)
