InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp 14,415/kg on Friday (5/12/2025), marking an increase of Rp 100/kg or around 0.70% from Thursday’s price of Rp 14,315/kg.
According to KPBN information obtained by InfoSAWIT, CPO Franco Dumai was priced at Rp 14,415/kg. CPO Loco Pelaihari opened at Rp 13,861/kg but ended in a Withdraw (WD), with the highest bid recorded at Rp 13,389/kg.
Reuters reported that Malaysian CPO futures rebounded on Friday (5/12/2025) after two consecutive sessions of losses, placing the contract on track for a second weekly gain as vegetable oil prices in Dalian and Chicago strengthened.
At midday, the benchmark February 2026 CPO contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 36, or 0.88%, to RM 4,141 (US$1,007.54) per metric ton. The contract has climbed about 0.65% this week.
In Dalian, the most-active soyoil contract gained 0.34%, while its palm oil contract strengthened 0.78%. Soyoil futures on the Chicago Board of Trade also rose by 0.25%.
