InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at IDR 14,315/kg on Thursday (4/12/2025), marking a decrease of IDR 110/kg or around 0.76% compared to the CPO price on Wednesday (3/12/2025), which reached IDR 14,425/kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Dumai CPO price was set at IDR 14,315/kg. The Loco Pelaihari CPO price opened at IDR 13,761/kg, but the offer was withdrawn (WD), with the highest bid recorded at IDR 13,200/kg.
Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, CPO prices on the Malaysian derivatives exchange weakened again during Thursday’s (4/12/2025) trading session, marking the second consecutive decline. Pressure came from falling edible oil prices on the Dalian and Chicago exchanges, alongside expectations of rising stockpiles that continue to weigh on the market.
At the midday break, the benchmark palm oil contract for February 2026 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell by RM 51 per ton, or 1.23%, to RM 4,102 per ton.
In the Dalian Commodity Exchange, the most-active soyoil contract (DBYcv1) declined by 0.46%, while the palm oil contract dropped by 1.12%. Meanwhile, soyoil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (BOc2) also inched down by 0.19%.
