InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at IDR 14,007/kg on Tuesday (18/11/2025). This means CPO prices increased by IDR 137/kg, or about 0.99%, compared to Monday (17/11/2025), when prices stood at IDR 13,870/kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Dumai CPO price was set at IDR 14,007/kg. CPO prices in Teluk Bayur were set at IDR 13,877/kg, while the Franco CPO price in Talang Duku was IDR 13,807/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, crude palm oil prices on the Malaysian exchange continued their upward trend. On Tuesday’s (18/11/2025) trading, the January palm oil futures contract marked its fourth consecutive session of gains, following stronger Chicago soyoil prices triggered by China’s large-scale purchase of U.S. soybeans.

The benchmark CPO contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 33 per ton, or about 0.79%, reaching RM 4,184 per ton at the midday break. This increase pushed palm oil prices back above the psychological threshold of RM 4,100 per ton.

Sentiment strengthened after reports that China purchased at least 14 cargoes of U.S. soybeans on Monday, according to two trade sources aware of the deals. The purchase marked China’s largest since January and the most significant since a meeting between President Donald Trump and President Xi Jinping last October.

The news immediately moved the global vegetable oil markets.
Dalian’s most-active soyoil contract rose 0.6%, while its palm oil contract gained 0.35%. On the Chicago Board of Trade, soyoil prices inched up 0.04%.
