JAKARTA – Secretary of Energy and Mineral Resources, (EMR),Sudirman Said thought, the regulation obliging the mixture of vegetable oil (in this case, crude palm oil (CPO)) to fuel (diesel) about 15% (B15) will reexcite palm oil industries in Indonesia.
“The implication of mixed energy will be in large numbers. All businessmen and the people will be asked to used biofuel. The markets will be reexcited,” he said, Monday (16/3) as quoted from OkeZone.
He explained, the B15 mandatory will be running in next April. So biodiesel will absorb the production from CPO about 3.5 millionskiloliter and at the same time, it saves the fuel imports about 15%. (T3)
