KOTABARU – Palm oil farmers in District of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan Province get some losts after some numbers of wild boars damaged their plantations.
A farmer in South Kelumpung, Kotabaru, Sipas explained, Thursday, some of the three year old plantatios in the nursery process were damaged by the wild boars.
“Some of the plantations are in the lower areas or wetland but in the higher areas, they are relatively safe,” he explained.
He estimated, there were lots of wild boars attacking the plantation. They were not only mature ones but also the small ones. It is known after seeing the tracks of small feets. Sipas said as Antara Kalsel reported. (T3)
