JAKARTA – To fulfil the vegetable fuel needs in the domestic country, the government suggests the crude palm oil (CPO) producers to increase the biodiesel.
Secretary of Treasury, Bambang Brodjonegoro explained, some time ago, the CPO producers were oblidged to produce biodiesel about 10% (B10) but now the biodiesel is incresed to be 15% (B15).
He continued, Secretary of Economy, Sofyan Djalil is still doing consultation with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. “At least, (the production) it is 15%,” he said Friday (13/3) as quoted from Metro.
Bambang thought, the palm oil businessmen could produce more biodiesel up to 30%. But it will take some time. (T3)
