ASAHAN – Palm oil farmers in District of Asahan, North Sumatera get some losts for the fresh fruit slightly decreases and the fruit price is still a little bit cheaper, about Rp 1.420/kg.
A farmer in Village of Punggulan, Sub district of Air Joman, Abdul Muis Nasution (63) said to SIB, some times ago, the fruit price always decreased when being in drought.
But before it is in dry season, he continued, an eight hectare plantation could produce 5 tons of fruit when it is harvested. But since the draught, the harvest decreases to be 1 ton. (T3)
