The reason are, the food, shampoo, soap, oleochemical, biodiesel, butter, and cooking oil need palm oil as the mixture and also the increasing population in the world.
In Indonesia itself, Franky continued, the people need 6 millions to 7 millions tons of palm oil. It is not counted to the usage mixture in biodiesel and oleochemical. “So the number could reach 10 millions of tons,” he recently explained in Jakarta. (T3)
