KUALA LUMPUR – The palm oil fruit production of Genting Plantations Berhard from year on year (YoY) reached 1.656.000 metrik ton (MT) in 2014 or increased 9% than the production in 2013 which reaching 1.524.000 MT.
But in the last quarter of 2014 (4Q2014) the fruit production increased 2% to be 473.000 MT from 463.000 MT in 4Q2013.
The average selling price of crude palm oil (CPO) of the company in the 4Q2014 decreased 13% to be RM2.176 /ton from 3Q2014 which was RM2.505 /ton, while in year on year, the average selling price of CPO increased to be RM 2.386 /ton dari RM 2.378 /ton in FY2013.
The company noted, the average palm kernel selling price in 2014 (FY2014) increased 26% to be RM 1.667 /ton from RM 1.324 /ton in FY2013. (T3)
