KUALA LUMPUR– Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Olam International Ltd, Sunny Verghese predicted, in 2015, the crude palm oil (CPO) price will be US$ 600-US$ 700 per ton (FOB).
He thought, the price will be more pressed when the peak of the stock in the second semester of this year. But it could be in the lowest price, that is, US$550 per ton. “We see, the trade price will be about US$600-US$700 per ton in the 6-12 months to go with the bottom price is US$550,” he said, Tuesday (3/3), as quoted from Reuters.
Now, he continued, the FOB price of the CPO from Malaysia and Indonesia is about US$657-US$660 per ton. (T3)
