BEKASI - Managing Director PT Sinar Mas Group, Gandi Sulistiyanto mentioned, his side supports the governent to develop palm oil downstream programme, such B10 or biodiesel 10% or the mixing of palm oil to the diesel.
When accompanying some media to the Refinery factory belonging to Sinar Mas in Marunda, Bekasi, Thursday 926/2), he also said, Sinar Mas plans to operate the biodiesel factory within 300 thousands tons/year. “In Dumai, the factory has produced 1 millions of tons/year,” he explained.
But he felt disappointed, the implementation of biodiesel mixing is just 7% only (B7%). So he and the company really supports the B10 obligation and even B20 in 2017. (T3)
