SANGATTA – Regional Government of East Kutai claimed, the plasma enlargement programme which is the partnership of the company and the people becomes the national role model.

The partnership pattern in East Kutai could be better than it in other regions for the enlargement is more creatively done. “There are lots of plasma enlargements in East Kutai and these become the national role models,” Regent of East Kutai, Isran Noor said as quoted from the official website of the government, Tuesday (24/2)

The plasma enlargement, he continued, has hire many employees – not only from East Kutai and East Kalimantan, but also from Sulawesi, Java, West Nusa Tenggara, and East Nusa Tenggara. This proves, plasma enlargement really contributes to the development and progress in East Kutai.

Same as what the Regent said, Head of Plantation Agency, East Kutai, Akhmadi Baharuddin mentioned, the presence of palm oil in this region could increase and welfare the people around. The people wholeover the subdistricts have enjoyed the goodness of palm oil plantation and there are many multifier effects.

“If anyone says, the people do not enjoy the goodness, it may happen in other region. But in East Kutai, I don’t think so. The people are happy to the palm oil investment,” he said. T3)
