The Farmers in Thailand Are Worry about the Import of Palm Oil.

BANGKOK – Drought in nine provinces in Thailand decreased palm oil production in the end of 2014. The government decided to import 50 thousands tons palm oil from Malaysia in February, 2015.

What the government of Thailand decided is a worriness to palm oil farmers. The import will decrease the fruit price in the country. This will effect for the government will buy it in large numbers,” a Thailand palm oil trader said as quoted from Bangkok.net, Friday (20/2). 

He continued, palm oil farmer groups plan to send letter to the Prime Minister, Prayuth Chan-ocha, saying that they protest the decision of importing palm oil. (T3)
