PEKANBARU – Based on the Central Statistic Agency’s data, Riau Province exports in January based on Free On Board (FOB) Monday (16/2) reached US$ 1,26 billions or decreased 13,27% than them in December 2014 which reaching US$ 1,45 billions. But being compared to the same year, 2014, they decreased 6,06% which reaching US$ 1,34 billions.
“The decreasing happened for the oil and gas and non oil and gas exports, which reaching 7,72% and 15,44% for each,” CSA Riau mentioned.
In 2015, the non oil and gas exports are dominated by fat and oil which reaching US$ 534,49 millions (60,70%), pulp US$ 115,82 millions (13,15%), paper and cardboard US$ 103,37 millions (11,74%), and other chemical products about US$ 70,53 milions (8,01%). The four commodities contribute 93,59 percents of the total non oil and gas exports in Riau. (T3)
