ROHIL – Head of Plantation Agency, District of Rokan Hilir (Rohil), Syahril mentioned, there are lots of progress in palm oil sector in the region.
It is known, there are more Palm Oil Mill (POM) operating there. “There were 29 POF in last year which were listed in the Agency, but now there are 34 POM and there are some applications to register (the POM). “So it is estimated, the POF will be 34 in this year,” he said as quoted from Dumai One, Tuesday (17/2).
He also estimated, the POM will be more for the good progress of palm oil plantation sector. The local people also choose to plant palm oil for the high demands. (T3)
