Thailand Agreed to Import CPO From Malaysia

BANGKOK – Government of Thailand agreed to import crude palm oil (CPO) about 50 thousands of tons from Malaysia in February 2015. This is done to anticipate the lacks of stocks of CPO for the drought.

Spokesman of the representative of Thailand, Sansern Kaewkamnerd said, the local CPO stocks are just about 113 thousands of tons while the ideal stocks to fulfill the local demands are 170 thousands of tons. So it needs CPO stocks about 50 thousands of tons. (T3)
