KAMERUN – To increase crude palm oil (CPO) productivity about 26% in the next three years, Government of Cameroon plans to plant superior palm oil seeds.
African Farming reported, Secretary of Cameroon, Essime Menye said, the new superior seeds will be planted in a 30 thousand hectare area. It is hoped to increase CPO to be 290 thousands tons per year, from the previous one which reaching 230 thousands of tons.
Beside that, in 2020, the government of Cameroon plans to reduce palm oil imports. (T3)
