JAKARTA–Commission IV asked the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MEF) to prioritize the realization of people programme in forestry in the budget year of 2015.

meminta Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan untuk memprioritaskan realisasi program-program kerakyatan dalam kegiatan bidang kehutanan pada Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara-Perubahan (APBN-P) Tahun 2015.

Hal itu ditekankan dalam Rapat Kerja Komisi IV yang dipimpin Ketua Edhy Prabowo, dengan Menteri LHK Siti Nurbaya, Rabu (11/2/2015), di Gedung Parlemen.

It was emphasized in the Meeting of Commission IV which was lead by  the Chairman, Edhy Prabowo with the Secretary of EV, Siti Nurbaya, Wednesday (11/2) in the Parliament Hall.

As written in the official website of the Legislators, the commission handling forestry agreed the allocation to fund many programmes, such as, river straightening, Protected Forest about Rp.1,088 billionns, nature and ecosystem conservation about Rp.1,547 billions and the social forestry and environmental partnership about Rp.308 billions. 

For information, Commission IV approved the additional funds in the State Budget – the Change of Ministry of Environment and Forestry in 2014 about Rp.199,6 billionns so the previous State Budget in the MEF was Rp.6,468 billions to be Rp.6,667 bilions which will be used to fund 13 programmes in environment and forestry.
