KOTABARU – The government of District of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan Province has distributed 22.400 stalks of palm oil seeds to the farmers. It was said by Head of Plantation, Kotabaru, Ibnu Bhayangkara Foen, Monday (9/2).
Palm oil seeds about 19.600 stalk and rubber seeds about 2.800 stalk were distributed by the Regent of Kotabaru, Irhami Ridjani. “The Regent also distributed one handsprayer for five hectare plantation area, five liters of herbicide in every hectare and 50 kg of fertilizer,” Ibdu said as quoted from Antara, South Kalimantan.
The seeds were given to the farmers in Subdistrict Pulau Laut Barat and Pulau Laut Timur having the area and not cultivated to be productive area. (T3)
