InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) produced by independent smallholders in Indonesia’s Riau province has been set for the October 7-13, 2026 period, with the highest listed price reaching Rp3,733.74 per kilogram for palms aged nine years.

The latest price determination was approved during a meeting of the Riau Provincial FFB Price Determination Team on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, based on sales data from Sept. 28 to Oct. 4 submitted by nine partner companies.

The weighted average crude palm oil (CPO) price used in the calculation was set at Rp15,063.53 per kilogram, while the average palm kernel price stood at Rp13,573 per kilogram.

The K Index, another key component in determining the independent smallholder FFB price, was set at 93.30%, while the shell value was Rp24.65 per kilogram.

3 years: Rp2,890.13/kg

4 years: Rp3,223.94/kg

5 years: Rp3,460.47/kg

6 years: Rp3,594.00/kg

7 years: Rp3,674.96/kg

8 years: Rp3,719.52/kg

9 years: Rp3,733.74/kg

10-20 years: Rp3,694.68/kg

21 years: Rp3,632.29/kg

22 years: Rp3,560.48/kg

23 years: Rp3,478.83/kg

24 years: Rp3,416.99/kg

25 years: Rp3,366.26/kg

26 years: Rp3,347.99/kg

27 years: Rp3,319.75/kg

28 years: Rp3,266.20/kg

29 years: Rp3,226.86/kg

30 years: Rp3,136.91/kg

The price determination refers to Indonesian Agriculture Ministry Regulation No. 13 of 2024, which governs the purchase of fresh fruit bunches produced by partner smallholders.

The official prices serve as a reference for FFB purchases from independent smallholders in Riau. Actual prices at the farm level may vary depending on fruit quality, mill or company policies, location, transportation costs and individual transaction conditions. (T2)
