InfoSAWIT, MEDAN – In celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, Musim Mas Group has once again distributed sacrificial livestock to communities surrounding its operational areas across Indonesia, continuing a social program that has been carried out consistently since 2022.
This year, the company distributed a total of 154 cattle and 69 goats through several operational units, with deliveries conducted gradually in coordination with local governments, mosque committees, community leaders, and beneficiaries to ensure orderly and targeted distribution.
Musim Mas said the initiative forms part of its broader commitment to maintaining strong and harmonious relationships with communities near its operations.
Corporate Affairs General Manager of Musim Mas Group, Yuandy, said Eid al-Adha represents more than an occasion for charitable giving, serving also as a moment to strengthen social ties and community solidarity.
“Eid al-Adha is not only about sharing, but also about strengthening relationships among people. Through this social initiative, Musim Mas aims to demonstrate its commitment as a company that is not merely present as a business actor, but as part of the community itself,” Yuandy said in an official statement received by InfoSAWIT on Friday (29/5/2026).
He added that the recurring qurban program reflects the company’s efforts to nurture closer relationships and reinforce togetherness with residents living near operational sites.
Community Leaders Welcome the Initiative
Positive responses also came from local community leaders.
Saharuddin, an imam at a mosque in Besar Village, Medan Labuhan District—commonly known as Pak Udin—praised Musim Mas for consistently supporting local residents through annual sacrificial animal donations.
“We highly appreciate Musim Mas’ concern for surrounding communities, particularly through Eid al-Adha livestock assistance. Programs like this show that the company is not only present as part of the local environment, but also shares happiness and strengthens relationships with the community,” Saharuddin said.
He noted that the annual assistance provides meaningful benefits, especially for residents who rely on qurban meat during the religious celebration.
“We truly feel the benefits, especially in supporting qurban worship and helping residents in need. This assistance is very meaningful and brings warmth to the Eid atmosphere. Hopefully this spirit of togetherness and care will continue,” he added.
Similar sentiments were expressed by local resident Idris Tobing, who said the qurban assistance had helped many families during Eid.
“Alhamdulillah, we feel greatly helped and happy by this assistance from Musim Mas. Qurban meat is very meaningful for us, especially during Eid al-Adha. We hope this kindness and concern continue to strengthen togetherness with the community,” he said.
