InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening social responsibility through the distribution of hundreds of sacrificial animals during the Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri/2026 celebration. The program reached various operational areas across Indonesia, including Riau, Jambi, North Sumatra, Sulawesi, and Kalimantan.

The sacrificial animal distribution forms part of the company’s broader effort to deliver tangible benefits to surrounding communities while fostering stronger and more harmonious relations with stakeholders across its operational regions.

The assistance was distributed to local communities, community leaders, places of worship, and employees in need.

 

Agrinas Palma Nusantara Reinforces Social Commitment

The symbolic handover ceremony took place in Pekanbaru on Sunday (24/5/2026). PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara Director of Institutional Relations, Major General (Ret.) Cucu Somantri, officially handed over the assistance to Regional II Riau I Chief Officer, R Wahyu Cahyadi.

In his remarks, Cucu emphasized that Eid al-Adha should not only be understood as a religious observance but also as a moment to strengthen solidarity, compassion, and the spirit of sharing with others.

He stressed that as a state-owned company, Agrinas Palma Nusantara carries a responsibility to ensure its presence generates real and meaningful benefits for communities surrounding its operational areas.

“We hope these sacrificial animals will bring happiness and meaningful benefits to communities, especially those living around Agrinas Palma Nusantara’s operational areas. The company’s presence must truly be felt by the people,” Cucu said in an official statement received by InfoSAWIT on Tuesday (26/5/2026).

According to Cucu, the qurban distribution program also forms part of the company’s strategy to strengthen social relations and maintain sustainable communication with local communities.

He noted that community aspirations remain an important consideration to ensure the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs are implemented effectively and deliver tangible positive impacts.

“President Prabowo Subianto’s message is clear—the presence of companies must provide real benefits to society. Therefore, companies must continue listening to community aspirations and make them part of social program planning,” he added.

 

Distribution Conducted Gradually Across Regions

Agrinas Palma Nusantara confirmed that slaughtering and distribution activities are being carried out gradually across each operational area.

The program involves local committees and community participation to ensure orderly, targeted, and needs-based distribution. Through this Eid al-Adha initiative, the company hopes to further strengthen the positive relationships built with communities around its operations.
