KPBN Inacom CPO Prices Remain Withdrawn on Monday (May 25), Malaysian Palm Oil Trade Weakens

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) prices at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) were recorded as withdrawn (WD) on Monday (May 25, 2026), with the highest bid reaching Rp12,333/kg. This marked a decline of Rp44/kg, or approximately 0.36 percent, compared with the highest bid recorded on Friday (May 22, 2026), which stood at Rp12,377/kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Belawan & Dumai CPO tender opened at Rp14,850/kg but ended in withdrawal (WD), with the highest bid recorded at Rp12,333/kg. Meanwhile, FOB Talang Duku opened at Rp14,650/kg and was also withdrawn, with the highest bid reaching Rp12,133/kg.

Crude palm oil trading on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange weakened on Monday (May 25, 2026), tracking declines in other vegetable oils traded on the Dalian market as well as weaker global crude oil prices. Market sentiment was further pressured by expectations of lower Malaysian palm oil exports, with Malaysia remaining one of the world’s leading palm oil producers.

According to Reuters, as published online by InfoSAWIT, the benchmark August 2026 CPO contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell by RM48 per ton, or around 1.07 percent, to RM4,438 per ton during the midday trading break.

Market participants are awaiting the release of Malaysia’s palm product export data for the May 1–25 period, scheduled to be announced by cargo surveyors on the same day. The figures are considered a key indicator of global demand strength for Malaysian palm oil.

In competing commodity markets, the most active soyoil contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange declined by 0.97 percent, while Dalian palm oil futures weakened by 0.78 percent. Trading in vegetable oils on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) was suspended due to a market holiday.
