South Sumatra Fresh Fruit Bunch Prices Reach Rp3,886.11/Kg in Second Half of May 2026

InfoSAWIT, PALEMBANG – The Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Team of South Sumatra Province has officially set the highest palm oil FFB price for the second period of May 2026 at Rp3,886.11 per kilogram for 22-year-old oil palm trees.

Based on data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the South Sumatra Plantation Agency, FFB prices for various plantation ages were determined as follows:

3 years: Rp3,255.55/kg

4 years: Rp3,357.45/kg

5 years: Rp3,498.75/kg

6 years: Rp3,532.29/kg

7 years: Rp3,527.41/kg

8 years: Rp3,661.68/kg

Meanwhile, FFB prices for older plantations were recorded at:

9 years: Rp3,739.71/kg

10–20 years: Rp3,882.25/kg

21 years: Rp3,873.29/kg

22 years: Rp3,886.11/kg

23 years: Rp3,859.46/kg

24 years: Rp3,753.93/kg

25 years: Rp3,769.93/kg

For plantations aged 26 years and above, prices were set at:

26 years: Rp3,703.94/kg

27 years: Rp3,650.31/kg

28 years: Rp3,589.74/kg

29 years: Rp3,523.51/kg

30 years: Rp3,451.74/kg

The provincial pricing team also established the crude palm oil (CPO) price at Rp15,058.72/kg, while palm kernel prices were fixed at Rp14,619.74/kg. Shell value was determined at Rp17.94/kg, with the K index reaching 93.29%.

The pricing applies for the period of May 16–31, 2026.

InfoSAWIT notes that the published prices are official benchmark figures determined by the provincial plantation authority. Actual prices received by Smallholders at the field level may vary depending on local market conditions and partnership arrangements. (T2)
