InfoSAWIT, SAMARINDA – The East Kalimantan Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Team has increased the price of oil palm FFB for the first period of May 2026 (May 1–15, 2026), with palm trees aged over 10 years rising by Rp74.63/kg to Rp3,632.96/kg.
Based on data gathered by InfoSAWIT from the East Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Agency, FFB prices for younger palm trees were also set higher across several age categories. Three-year-old palm trees were priced at Rp3,190.48/kg, four-year-old trees at Rp3,292.00/kg, and five-year-old trees at Rp3,382.77/kg.
Meanwhile, six-year-old trees reached Rp3,457.08/kg, seven-year-old trees were valued at Rp3,507.07/kg, and eight-year-old trees at Rp3,563.83/kg. Nine-year-old trees were priced at Rp3,607.22/kg, while trees aged over 10 years reached Rp3,632.96/kg.
The province also established the reference crude palm oil (CPO) price at Rp15,293.70/kg and palm kernel prices at Rp14,681.40/kg, with a K index of 88.36%. (T2)
