Based on the results of the West Sumatra FFB pricing team for the May 8–14, 2026 period, the price for oil palm trees aged 10–20 years was set at Rp4,022.16/kg, up Rp18.41/kg from the previous period.
According to data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the West Sumatra Plantation, Food Crops, and Horticulture Agency, FFB prices for 3-year-old palms were set at Rp3,141.76/kg, while 4-year-old and 5-year-old palms were priced at Rp3,324.45/kg and Rp3,524.31/kg respectively.
Meanwhile, prices for 6-year-old palms reached Rp3,639.31/kg, followed by 7-year-old palms at Rp3,786.15/kg and 8-year-old palms at Rp3,928.54/kg.
The FFB price for 9-year-old plantations was recorded at Rp4,009.14/kg, while palms aged 10–20 years achieved the highest benchmark at Rp4,022.16/kg. Older plantations aged 21 to 25 years were priced between Rp3,585.29/kg and Rp3,860.87/kg.
For the pricing components, crude palm oil (CPO) was set at Rp15,215.46/kg, while palm kernel prices reached Rp15,309.82/kg. The shell value was determined at Rp17.75/kg, with the K index recorded at 94.34%.
