InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) prices for independent oil palm smallholders in Riau Province declined during the May 13–19, 2026 pricing period, following the latest pricing agreement issued by the provincial pricing committee.
Based on the official FFB pricing letter No. 16 for the May 13–19, 2026 period, the price for 9-year-old oil palm trees was set at Rp3,832.65/kg, down Rp47.73/kg from the previous period.
According to InfoSAWIT’s review of data from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency, FFB prices for independent smallholders were set at Rp2,972.21/kg for 3-year-old palms, Rp3,311.85/kg for 4-year-old palms, and Rp3,551.00/kg for 5-year-old palms. Meanwhile, prices for 6-year-old and 7-year-old palms reached Rp3,686.86/kg and Rp3,770.36/kg respectively.
For older plantations, the FFB price for 8-year-old palms stood at Rp3,815.65/kg, while 10–20-year-old palms were priced at Rp3,794.46/kg. Prices for 21-year-old and 22-year-old palms were recorded at Rp3,732.20/kg and Rp3,660.04/kg respectively.
Meanwhile, the benchmark crude palm oil (CPO) price was set at Rp15,343.63/kg, with palm kernel prices reaching Rp15,359.00/kg and shell value recorded at Rp22.66/kg. The K index for the period was determined at 92.22%.
