PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Records Higher FFB and CPO Production Throughout 2025, Mill Efficiency Becomes Key Driver

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The operational performance of the plantation segment of PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk throughout 2025 showed a positive trend, marked by increased production of both fresh fruit bunches (FFB) and crude palm oil (CPO). Improved quality of processed raw materials, along with tighter control over production losses at the mill level, became the key factors supporting this achievement.

Throughout 2025, the company recorded production of 1,628,452 metric tons of FFB from nucleus estates, up 4.22 percent compared to FFB production in 2024. From that harvest, the company also posted output of 527,052 metric tons of CPO, 104,130 metric tons of palm kernel, and 15,379 metric tons of palm kernel oil.

To support downstream operational performance, the company processed a total of 2,382,942 metric tons of FFB through 10 palm oil mills (POMs) located within its plantation areas. This processing capacity became the backbone of the increase in palm oil output throughout the 2025 financial year.

Operations Director of PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk, Akhmad Faisyal, explained that the company’s CPO production in 2025 reached 527,052 metric tons, representing an increase of 14.23 percent compared to 2024 production, which stood at 461,414 metric tons.

In line with the increase in production volume, the company’s Oil Extraction Rate (OER) also reached 22.12 percent, reflecting improved efficiency in the palm oil extraction process at its mills.

“This improvement was driven by better quality of processed FFB and stronger control of losses at the mill,” said Akhmad Faisyal during the Annual Public Expose of PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk, attended by InfoSAWIT on Thursday (30/4/2026).

This achievement indicates that the company’s strategy of strengthening upstream operations and improving processing efficiency at the mill level has begun to generate tangible impacts on productivity, while further reinforcing the company’s position amid the dynamics of Indonesia’s palm oil industry.
