InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) continue through cross-sector collaboration.
Apical, through its business unit PT Asianagro Agungjaya, conducted an entrepreneurship training program for culinary MSMEs in North Jakarta on April 8, 2026.
Held at the North Jakarta Manpower Office hall, the program focused on improving production efficiency through better raw material selection.
Participants received both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in preparing fried food products such as crispy cireng and fried chicken.
They also compared different cooking materials, including Camar cooking oil and Frybest shortening, to understand cost efficiency and product quality.
Apical’s CSR Manager, Sugiantoro, stated that the program reflects the company’s long-term commitment to empowering MSMEs.
“We hope MSMEs can improve efficiency while maintaining product quality, enabling them to compete in increasingly competitive markets,” he said.
The local government also acknowledged the positive impact of the collaboration, which has been ongoing since 2020.
Participants expressed direct benefits, particularly in understanding cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
Through this initiative, Apical and local authorities aim to foster more productive, innovative, and competitive MSMEs, especially in the culinary sector. (T2)
