InfoSAWIT, PALEMBANG – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices in South Sumatra (Sumsel) reached their highest level of Rp4,040.01/kg during the second period of April 2026, highlighting relatively strong pricing conditions for mature oil palm.
Referring to the provincial pricing team’s decision for the April 16–30, 2026 period, the highest price was recorded for 22-year-old palms.
Quote InfoSAWIT from InfoSAWIT, on Tuesday (21 April 2026), prices across plant age categories varied, with 3-year-old palms at Rp3,380.70/kg; 4 years at Rp3,486.65/kg; 5 years at Rp3,632.22/kg; 6 years at Rp3,665.96/kg; 7 years at Rp3,660.32/kg; and 8 years at Rp3,801.95/kg.
Meanwhile, 9-year-old palms were priced at Rp3,884.31/kg; 10–20 years at Rp4,034.63/kg; 21 years at Rp4,025.77/kg; 22 years at Rp4,040.01/kg; 23 years at Rp4,012.40/kg; 24 years at Rp3,903.34/kg; and 25 years at Rp3,920.57/kg.
Older plantations recorded lower prices, with 26 years at Rp3,862.26/kg; 27 years at Rp3,786.96/kg; 28 years at Rp3,734.41/kg; 29 years at Rp3,666.04/kg; and 30 years at Rp3,591.87/kg.
CPO prices were set at Rp15,739.22/kg, kernel at Rp15,631.11/kg, and shell value at Rp17.88/kg, with a K index of 92.36%. (T2)
