InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to safeguarding national wealth through law enforcement and the regulation of forest areas.
According to InfoSAWIT’s monitoring during the Administrative Fine Handover and State Financial Recovery event by the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH) on Friday (April 10, 2026), the President stated that the government successfully recovered Rp11.42 trillion in April 2026.
This achievement brings the total state financial recovery during his administration to Rp31.3 trillion. Previously, the government recovered Rp13.255 trillion in October 2025 from corruption cases involving crude palm oil (CPO) export facilities and derivatives, as well as Rp6.625 trillion in December 2025.
“This is a very large figure and demonstrates real work in safeguarding state assets,” the President said.
Tangible Impact for the People
Prabowo emphasized that the recovered funds have significant potential to support national development. He noted that the funds could be used to renovate up to 34,000 schools across Indonesia, a sharp increase from the previous year’s 17,000 units.
Additionally, the budget could finance the renovation of more than 500,000 houses for low-income communities, directly benefiting around 2 million people.
“Imagine if these funds had not been recovered—they would not be available for the people,” he stressed.
Forest Asset Recovery Reaches Rp370 Trillion
Beyond financial recovery, the government has also regained control of state forest assets valued at approximately Rp370 trillion.
The President described this achievement as highly significant, noting it is equivalent to nearly 10% of the State Budget (APBN), which stands at around Rp3,700 trillion.
“In just one and a half years, Satgas PKH has recovered nearly 10% of the APBN. This is extraordinary,” he said.
Prabowo also expressed appreciation to Satgas PKH personnel for their dedication despite facing challenges, including intimidation and threats.
Firm Law Enforcement Without Exception
He stressed that the government will fully utilize its constitutional authority to enforce the law, including against illegal practices such as smuggling and unauthorized mining.
“There is no other option—we must enforce the law without discrimination for the sake of the people,” he concluded, urging all state officials to uphold service and nationalism in managing Indonesia’s natural resources for public welfare. (T2)
