KPBN Inacom CPO Price Withdrawn on Thursday (April 9), Malaysian Palm Oil Closes Slightly Higher

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) prices at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) were recorded as withdrawn (WD), with the highest bid reaching Rp 15,778/kg on Thursday (April 9, 2026). This reflects an increase of Rp 28/kg or about 0.18% compared to the highest bid on Wednesday (April 8, 2026), which stood at Rp 15,750/kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Dumai CPO price opened at Rp 15,850/kg but was withdrawn, with the highest bid recorded at Rp 15,778/kg. Meanwhile, the FOB Talang Duku price opened at Rp 15,650/kg and was also withdrawn, with the highest bid reaching Rp 15,300/kg.

Meanwhile, crude palm oil (CPO) trading on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange closed slightly higher on Thursday (April 9, 2026), supported by bargain buying following a rebound in global crude oil prices.

According to Reuters, as reported by InfoSAWIT on Thursday (April 9, 2026), the benchmark June 2026 CPO futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose by RM29 per ton, or approximately 0.63%, to RM4,615 per ton at the midday break. The gain came after prices had declined by more than 3% in the previous trading session.

On the domestic front, Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has reportedly issued regulations outlining the implementation timeline for its biodiesel blending mandate, as part of efforts to accelerate energy transition and strengthen national energy independence.

However, negative sentiment also stemmed from movements in other vegetable oils in the global market. Soyoil futures on the Chicago Board of Trade edged up 0.44%, while the most active soyoil contract on the Dalian exchange fell 0.68%, and palm oil futures on the same exchange declined by 0.52%.
