Riau Independent Smallholder FFB Prices Rise by Rp39.22/kg for April 8–14, 2026 Period

InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for independent smallholders in Riau Province recorded an increase for the April 8–14, 2026 period, based on the official pricing decision issued by the provincial pricing team.

Referring to the decree No. 11 for the period, the price of 9-year-old oil palm FFB rose by Rp39.22 per kilogram to reach Rp4,007.05/kg.

According to data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency, FFB prices vary by plant age. Three-year-old palms were priced at Rp3,105.71/kg, while four-year-old palms reached Rp3,461.59/kg. Prices continued to increase with age, with five-year-old palms at Rp3,712.35/kg and six-year-old palms at Rp3,854.70/kg.

Meanwhile, seven-year-old palms were set at Rp3,942.07/kg and eight-year-old palms at Rp3,989.53/kg.

For mature palms, nine-year-old trees recorded the highest price at Rp4,007.05/kg, while palms aged 10–20 years were priced at Rp3,966.85/kg. Prices then gradually declined for older trees, with 21-year-old palms at Rp3,901.48/kg and 25-year-old palms at Rp3,620.87/kg.

At the upper end of the age spectrum, 30-year-old palms were priced at Rp3,378.88/kg.

The pricing formula was supported by a crude palm oil (CPO) reference price of Rp16,002.48/kg and palm kernel price of Rp15,838.68/kg, with a shell value of Rp19.07/kg and a K index of 92.76%.

This official pricing serves as a reference, although actual prices at the field level may vary depending on market conditions. (T2)
