InfoSAWIT, PADANG – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices in West Sumatra experienced a slight decline in the first week of April 2026.

Dilansir InfoSAWIT from the West Sumatra Plantation Agency, on Tuesday (April 7, 2026), prices for 10–20-year-old palms fell by Rp46.05/kg to Rp4,079.47/kg.

Other age categories recorded prices ranging from Rp3,187.30/kg (3 years) to Rp4,066.36/kg (9 years), with older trees showing gradual decreases.

The reference CPO price was set at Rp15,645.30/kg, kernel at Rp15,630.00/kg, and shell at Rp17.50/kg, with an index K of 93.21%.

Despite the decline, prices remain relatively stable, supported by consistent demand in the palm oil market. (T2)
