InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) prices at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) were recorded as withdrawn (WD) on Thursday (April 2, 2026), with the highest bid reaching Rp 16,135/kg. This reflects a decline of Rp 90/kg or حوالي 0.55% compared to Wednesday (April 1, 2026), when prices stood at Rp 16,225/kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Dumai CPO price opened at Rp 16,275/kg, but the tender ended in withdrawal (WD), with the highest bid recorded at Rp 16,135/kg.
Meanwhile, from Reuters, CPO futures trading on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange closed higher on Thursday (April 2, 2026), after declining in the previous session. The increase was driven by uncertainty surrounding the Middle East conflict and expectations of lower production in March.
The benchmark CPO contract for June 2026 delivery rose by RM25 per ton, or approximately 0.52%, to RM4,794 per ton at the close.
Market participants are now awaiting the release of official March supply and demand data by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), scheduled for April 10, which is expected to provide further direction for price movements.
Globally, edible oil markets showed mixed trends. The most active soyoil contract in Dalian fell 0.48%, while its palm oil contract declined 0.28%. In contrast, soyoil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade rose 1.62%.
