InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) and PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) have strengthened collaboration in Indonesia’s palm oil marketing system through an open e-bidding mechanism.
Implemented on April 1, 2026, the initiative aims to enhance transparency, competitiveness, and market-based pricing.
The system leverages KPBN’s established marketplace and tender network, widely recognized as a benchmark for crude palm oil (CPO) pricing.
SEVP Operations of KPBN, Muhammad Zulham Rambe, emphasized that prices are fully determined by market dynamics.
“The price formed is the best price of the day, as it is purely driven by an open market mechanism,” he said in an official statement received by InfoSAWIT on Thursday (April 2, 2026).
The first implementation successfully marketed 6,000 tons of CPO with a 100 percent acceptance rate, reflecting strong market confidence.
The collaboration is expected to improve market access, strengthen state revenue contributions, and reinforce KPBN’s role as a credible and transparent commodity trading platform, while positioning Agrinas Palma Nusantara to compete more effectively in the global market. (T1)
