KPBN CPO Prices Withdraw as Malaysian Futures Slide on Soybean Oil Weakness

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) prices at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) recorded withdrawals (WD) during Wednesday’s (March 25, 2026) trading, reflecting broader market pressure from declining global prices.

The highest bid for CPO reached Rp15,373/kg, marking a drop of Rp452/kg atau turun sekitar 2.86% compared to Rp15,825/kg recorded on Tuesday (March 17, 2026).

KPBN data shows CPO Franco Dumai opened at Rp15,600/kg but ended in withdrawal, with the highest bid at Rp15,373/kg. Similarly, Franco Teluk Bayur opened at Rp15,470/kg and was withdrawn with a top bid of Rp15,205/kg.

Meanwhile, according to Bernama, CPO futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower, pressured by weaker soybean oil prices in the global market.

Market participants noted that soybean oil remains a key driver of CPO price movements due to their competition in the global edible oil market.

At the close, April 2026 contracts fell RM77 to RM4,503 per ton, while May 2026 declined RM77 to RM4,542 per ton. June 2026 contracts dropped RM74 to RM4,537 per ton.
