InfoSAWIT, ROKAN HULU – To celebrate the holy month of Ramadan while strengthening social responsibility, Agrinas Palma Nusantara has launched its Ramadan Community Market Program across several operational areas.

The program is implemented in Rokan Hulu (Riau), North Padang Lawas (North Sumatra), and Bengkayang (West Kalimantan).

As part of the initiative, the company distributed 5,600 subsidized food packages at affordable prices for plantation workers and surrounding communities, helping meet essential needs during the high-consumption Ramadan period.

General Manager of TJSL & ESG Division, Gatut Mukti, emphasized that the program reflects the company’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

“We have provided 5,600 subsidized food packages through this Ramadan Community Market as a tangible form of support for workers and local communities,” he said in an official statement received by InfoSAWIT, Thursday (March 19, 2026).

“Ramadan is a moment for sharing and strengthening togetherness. Through this program, we want to ensure that basic necessities are more accessible and affordable,” he added.

The program, running from mid to late Ramadan, also involves regional leadership, with plantation heads attending and symbolically distributing aid packages in each area.

The initiative has been well received by communities.
“We are greatly helped because the prices are much more affordable, easing our household expenses,” said a resident in Rokan Hulu.

Plantation workers in Bengkayang shared similar sentiments.
“This program really helps us meet our daily needs. We hope it continues,” one worker said.

Through the Ramadan Community Market, Agrinas Palma Nusantara not only provides short-term economic relief but also fosters long-term social harmony.
