InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Shares of palm oil plantation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) moved variably in the latest trading session, with several stocks posting gains while others came under pressure.

Shares of PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG) and PT Pulau Subur Tbk (PTPS) remained unchanged.
Market participants noted that movements in palm oil stocks are still influenced by global crude palm oil (CPO) price dynamics and external sentiment, including fluctuations in vegetable oil prices and policy uncertainty in major producing countries.
Investors are therefore taking a selective approach, focusing on companies with strong fundamentals and stable market exposure. Looking ahead, the sector’s performance is expected to remain closely tied to global CPO prices and energy policies, particularly biodiesel mandates that could boost domestic demand. (T2)
