According to Bernama, CPO futures on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange strengthened again during Thursday’s trading session, continuing the upward trend amid a rally in global crude oil prices that lifted sentiment in the vegetable oil market.
The increase in global energy prices has improved the competitiveness of vegetable oils, especially palm oil, which is widely used as a biodiesel feedstock. This condition has strengthened market optimism regarding short-term CPO price movements.
