InfoSAWIT, PALEMBANG – The Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) price for oil palm Smallholders in South Sumatra declined during the first period of March 2026 (March 1–15), according to the provincial FFB pricing team.
The team set the price for oil palm trees aged 10–20 years at Rp3,534.67/kg, marking a decrease of Rp52.14/kg compared to the previous pricing period.
Based on data obtained by InfoSAWIT from the South Sumatra Provincial Plantation Office, the FFB prices by tree age are as follows:
3 years Rp2,966.07/kg, 4 years Rp3,058.78/kg, 5 years Rp3,188.32/kg, 6 years Rp3,219.64/kg, 7 years Rp3,215.60/kg, and 8 years Rp3,336.34/kg.
Meanwhile, prices for older trees were set at Rp3,406.47/kg (9 years), Rp3,534.67/kg (10–20 years), Rp3,526.19/kg (21 years), Rp3,537.21/kg (22 years), Rp3,512.89/kg (23 years), Rp3,416.40/kg (24 years), and Rp3,430.53/kg (25 years).
For trees aged 26–30 years, prices ranged from Rp3,370.28/kg to Rp3,139.49/kg.
The CPO reference price was set at Rp13,934.70/kg, while palm kernel was priced at Rp13,278.84/kg and shell value at Rp17.63/kg, with the K index recorded at 92.09%. (T2)
