Fresh Fruit Bunch Prices in West Sumatra Rise by Rp89.88/kg for March 8–14, 2026

InfoSAWIT, PADANG – The Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) price for oil palm Smallholders in West Sumatra increased during the second pricing period of March 2026 (March 8–14), according to the provincial FFB pricing team.

The team agreed to raise the FFB price for oil palm trees aged 10–20 years by Rp89.88/kg, bringing the benchmark price to Rp3,778.09/kg.

According to data obtained by InfoSAWIT from the West Sumatra Provincial Office for Estate Crops, Food Crops and Horticulture, FFB prices for various tree ages are as follows:
3 years Rp2,956.11/kg, 4 years Rp3,126.73/kg, 5 years Rp3,313.95/kg, 6 years Rp3,421.90/kg, 7 years Rp3,558.31/kg, and 8 years Rp3,691.42/kg.

Meanwhile, the price for 9-year-old trees reached Rp3,766.43/kg, while trees aged 10–20 years were set at Rp3,778.09/kg. Older trees were priced at Rp3,628.60/kg (21 years), Rp3,622.97/kg (22 years), Rp3,568.66/kg (23 years), Rp3,403.39/kg (24 years), and Rp3,367.35/kg (25 years).

For the same period, the crude palm oil (CPO) reference price was set at Rp14,592.85/kg, while palm kernel was priced at Rp14,073.00/kg and shell value at Rp17.50/kg, with the K index recorded at 93.21%. (T2)
