InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) offered through PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp15,275/kg on Tuesday (March 10, 2026), marking an increase of Rp164/kg or about 1.09% compared with the highest offer recorded on Monday (March 6, 2026) at Rp15,111/kg.
Based on information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Dumai CPO price was set at Rp15,275/kg, while Franco Teluk Bayur stood at Rp15,145/kg and FOB Talang Duku was priced at Rp15,075/kg.
Meanwhile, according to Bernama, crude palm oil futures on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange closed lower on Tuesday (March 9, 2026), reversing earlier gains. The decline was driven by negative sentiment from falling crude oil prices and profit-taking activity in the global vegetable oil market.
Senior analyst at Fastmarkets Palm Oil Analytics, Sathia Varqa, explained that the weakening of CPO prices was also influenced by profit-taking that followed a broader decline in the global vegetable oil complex.
The soybean market also recorded losses. The most active soybean futures contract for May 2026 on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) fell by 83 yuan (about US$12.03) to 4,749 yuan per ton.
