InfoSAWIT, PADANG – The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of oil palm in West Sumatra Province for the 1–7 March 2026 period has been set at Rp3,688.21/kg for trees aged 10–20 years, according to the provincial FFB pricing team.
Based on information obtained by InfoSAWIT from the West Sumatra Plantation, Food Crops and Horticulture Agency, FFB prices by tree age are as follows:
3 years Rp2,883.08/kg;
4 years Rp3,050.17/kg;
5 years Rp3,223.18/kg;
6 years Rp3,338.56/kg;
7 years Rp3,472.59/kg;
8 years Rp3,602.87/kg.
Meanwhile, 9-year-old palms are priced at Rp3,676.48/kg, while the 10–20 year category records the highest price at Rp3,688.21/kg.
Older trees are priced at Rp3,541.12/kg for 21 years, Rp3,535.79/kg for 22 years, Rp3,483.01/kg for 23 years, Rp3,322.13/kg for 24 years, and Rp3,287.63/kg for 25 years.
The crude palm oil (CPO) reference price was set at Rp14,138.61/kg, while the kernel price reached Rp14,000.29/kg, with a K index of 93.37%.
