KPBN CPO Price Rises on Friday (Feb 27), Bursa Malaysia Futures Also Strengthen

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,400/kg on Friday (27/2/2026), up Rp175/kg or 0.28% compared to Rp14,225/kg on Thursday.

According to data obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Dumai CPO price was set at Rp14,400/kg. Franco Belawan opened at Rp14,400/kg but was later withdrawn, with the highest bid recorded at Rp14,300/kg.

Meanwhile, Bernama reported that CPO futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Friday, supported by gains in soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and positive crude oil market sentiment.

At the close, the March 2026 and April 2026 contracts rose RM34 to RM3,989 per ton and RM4,030 per ton, respectively. The May 2026 contract gained RM37 to RM4,042 per ton.

The June 2026 contract increased RM40 to RM4,046 per ton, while July and August 2026 contracts also rose RM40 to RM4,043 and RM4,038 per ton, respectively.

Trading volume climbed to 63,409 lots from 61,228 lots on Thursday, while open interest edged up to 227,706 contracts from 227,240 previously.

The physical CPO price for March South delivery also rose RM30 to RM4,050 per ton.
