InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), through the Directorate General of New and Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE), has set the Market Index Price (HIP) for Biodiesel biofuel at Rp13,856 per liter for February 2026, excluding transportation costs.
The decision was outlined in Director General of EBTKE Letter No. B-294/EK.05/DJE/2026 dated February 1, 2026.
The implementation of the Biodiesel Mandatory Program refers to Article 18 paragraph (3) of Presidential Regulation No. 132 of 2024 on Plantation Fund Management, with the government setting the conversion rate of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) to Biodiesel at US$85 per metric ton.
Director General of EBTKE Eniya Listiani Dewi stated that the HIP Biodiesel price for February 2026 would take effect from February 1, 2026.
Based on calculation data, the average CPO price from the Indonesian Palm Oil Marketing Board (KPB) between December 25, 2025 and January 24, 2026 was recorded at Rp14,496 per kilogram. (T2)
