InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) for independent smallholders in Riau has edged lower for the 11–24 February 2026 period. The provincial pricing team set the benchmark for nine-year-old palms at Rp 3,642.08 per kg, down Rp 26.17 per kg from the previous period.

Data from the Riau Plantation Agency show that prices vary by tree age. Three-year-old palms are priced at Rp 2,821.43 per kg, while five-year-old trees fetch Rp 3,375.42 per kg. The peak range remains around nine to 20 years, with 10–20-year-old palms at Rp 3,604.55 per kg.

Older plantations record a gradual decline in value, with 25-year-old palms at Rp 3,286.56 per kg and 30-year-old trees at Rp 3,064.38 per kg. The age-based structure reflects productivity patterns across plantation cycles.

The reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) is set at Rp 14,766.77 per kg, while palm kernel stands at Rp 13,739.00 per kg. Shell value is Rp 26.34 per kg, with a K index of 92.23%.

Authorities emphasised that the published figures serve as official guidance. Actual transaction prices at mill or trader level may differ depending on quality, logistics and local demand conditions. (T2)
