InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) prices at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) were withdrawn (WD) during Monday’s (Feb 9, 2026) tender, with the highest bid recorded at Rp14,500 per kilogram.
The figure marked a decline of Rp115/kg, or approximately 0.79%, compared to the highest bid of Rp14,615/kg recorded on Friday (Feb 6, 2026).
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Dumai CPO tender opened at Rp14,685/kg but was withdrawn after the highest offer reached Rp14,500/kg. Meanwhile, Loco Pelaihari opened at Rp14,131/kg and was also withdrawn, with the highest bid recorded at Rp13,233/kg.
According to Reuters, as published online by InfoSAWIT, Malaysian palm oil futures closed higher on Monday (Feb 9, 2026), supported by gains in soyoil prices on the Chicago and Dalian exchanges. Market participants are awaiting the release of monthly data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) as well as analysts’ outlooks at the upcoming Price Outlook Conference (POC).
The benchmark April 2026 CPO contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM19 per tonne, or 0.46%, to close at RM4,173 per tonne. The increase reflected positive sentiment across the global vegetable oils market.
On other exchanges, the most active soyoil contract in Dalian edged up 0.07%, while palm oil futures there slipped 0.31%. Meanwhile, soyoil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade surged 1.63%, providing additional support to palm oil prices.
